The Nightclubs

The Bank

Location: Inside the Bellagio Hotel and Casino

Review: If you walk into The Bank nightclub at Bellagio feeling like you're in for one of the richest nights of your life, then Jodi Myers, the club's original managing partner and current president of customer development for Light Group, has done her job.

From the moment you enter The Bank, the groundwork for your experience is laid, through the name of the club to the walk through the foyer lined with Cristal bottles.

The club is laid out in three tiers, with the bottom floor serving as the dance floor and the focal point of the club. VIP is on the second level and only accessible to those who have a table reservation. The two bars are located on the third floor, which is accessible to anyone.

Blush

Location: Inside The Wynn Las Vegas

Review: Unlike most local nightclubs, Blush at Wynn Las Vegas, tries to impart a residential mood, giving guests the feeling that when they walk through the door, they're walking into a party in someone's living room, a very nice living room.

It’s a room where you can sit, have a drink, talk and then dance the night away.

Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce

Location: Inside Mandalay Bay Hotel

Review: Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce is definitely a club, but there's a show, too. Forty Deuce has a crew of trained dancers practicing the art of burlesque twice a night, which is to say, there are sexy women, up on a stage, performing some of the most intricate (and sexy) dance moves you've ever seen.

Forty Deuce is on the small end of the Vegas club spectrum, but only in size and it works to the advantage of clubgoers because it means the entire space is a good place to be. There's no lost, lonely hallway where you get stuck away from everybody else – you're right in the thick of it, no matter where you are and, with the exception of some space behind the bar, you can see the stage.

Moon Nightclub

Location: Inside The Palms Fantasy Tower

Review: Exclusive boutique nightclub on the very top floor of the Palms new Fantasy Tower, featuring spectacular views, including a celestial retractable roof. Moon is an ideal complement to both Nove Italiano restaurant and the Playboy Club,    which are located just below. The venue is high end and exclusive and offers vip amenities and state of the art technology that other N9NE group venues are known for. The striking main room complete with elaborate bar, lounge and colorfully illuminated dance floor shows off incredible views of the strip, as well as a unique view of the stars when the roof, thirty five feet above the dance floor retracts. A palette of yellow, gold, nickel and silver gives the room a mystical lunar aura and unique glass floor tiles display a dazzling spectrum of color. In the rear, two intimate rooms sharing their own bar provide a relaxed ultra lounge experience. A more exclusive mezzanine level is accessed by two dramatic staircases, and features a spectacular balcony with awesome views.

Rumjungle

Location: Inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

Review: With Sin City's largest supply of rum stacked to the ceiling, rumjungle is no stranger to the limelight. Rumjungle offers the most diversified experience to be found on the Vegas Strip, shunning the common raver and catering to an upscale,       mature clientele. Rumjungle is open all week, but the pretty people come out in droves on Friday and Saturday nights. On any given night, DJs provide partygoers with a fresh dose of R&B, house, hip-hop, funk, Top 40, techno and international rhythm that will make you move. Seating comes at a price, so if you're on a budget, plan on standing the VIP sections are reserved for nightclubbers with cash to burn. From the walls of water lined with fire to the illuminated bar, rumjungle defies all convention. This is one scene you don't want to miss.

Studio 54
Location: Inside the MGM Grand.

Review: New York City's original Studio 54 nightclub defined '70s pop culture, and now guests of Studio 54 at the MGM Grand can be transported back to the heyday of that classic discotheque.

A gallery of black-and-white photos of celebrities taken at New York's original Studio 54 inspire the same carefree, festive atmosphere at the club in Vegas.

Confetti cannons and balloon drops contribute to the party vibe, and dozens of video screens show music videos or live action from around the club.

Studio 54 offers 22,000 square feet of fun. There is a large main dance floor downstairs and two smaller dance floors upstairs and people do come here to dance. The music at Studio 54 always gets the crowd moving. Early in the evening, you'll hear plenty of disco and early '80s hip-hop and dance music. As the night progresses, expect to hear more techno and house tunes.

Go-go dancers perform on several platforms around the main dance floor and in cages suspended from the ceiling. This is one of the few clubs in town that also has male dancers. Expect to be entertained by acrobats suspended from the ceiling and by dancers on swings above the dance floor.

Studio 54 offers plenty of plush reserved seating areas and an exclusive VIP area on the second floor.

The club has a very welcoming vibe you'll see people of virtually all ages and in everything from casual to chic attire at Studio 54.

Studio 54 always fills up fast and there's a big line to get in, so get there early and enjoy this legendary club.

Risque
Location: Inside Paris Las Vegas.

Review: Fine wines, elegant decor, dancing. If you're looking for a chic nightspot where you can find all these things and more, try Risqué, the "ultra lounge" at Paris.

Risqué, located above the Ah Sin Asian restaurant, is a relaxing and sophisticated club decorated with plush couches, luxurious beds and expansive ottomans to lounge on, all surrounding a dance floor. Many of the seating areas are recessed, adding a more private feel.

Risqué is beautifully decorated in red hues with Asian artwork, mirrors, candles and bamboo plants as accents.

Seven small private balconies allow guests to stand outside and enjoy a beautiful view of the Strip and Bellagio's fountains.

Risqué also features the Salon Privée, a separate room that is more conducive to conversation. The room is a bit more formal than the main room with a private bar, exquisite chandeliers, elegant furniture and red velvet drapes.

Don't miss one of the unique touches at Risqué the restrooms. Monsieurs and mesdames are separated by a translucent glass wall. The restrooms are decorated with floating mirrors, stainless steel fixtures and a vaulted red ceiling with light boxes that cast a lavender glow.

Tables with bottle service are available for small and large groups.

Risqué is the perfect after-dinner spot to dance, relax with a few cocktails and just enjoy the scenery.

Rain Las Vegas

Location: Inside the Palms Casino Resort.

Review: The pleasures of Rain Las Vegas lie in its contradictions. Like the hotel-casino that hosts it, the club was built for locals but encourages out-of-state visitors to leave the Strip and party down. It is cavernous without feeling impersonal, unique without being gimmicky and elegant without being pretentious.

As you enter the club through a bright, futuristic tunnel, the club's visual charms hit you immediately. The state-of-the-art lighting system washes the room in color and motion, the dance floor seems to float on a bed of fountains and a wall of Strip-facing windows compliment the members-only "cabanas" on the upper level. The latter may seem an unusual design choice for a discotheque traditionally windowless boxes but it pays off. Rain is very much part of the fun that's going on outside, a party that hasn't stopped for 50 years plus.

The sound system is good and sharp all the better to pump out those deep house and techno beats and live shows by the likes of Macy Gray help to draw out Vegas' prettiest, best-dressed crowd. Contrary to popular perception, not only does it rain in the desert, but it's also a real pleasure when it does.

ghostbar

Location: Inside the Palms Casino Resort.

Review: Located on the 55th floor of the Palms and accessible only by express elevator, ghostbar is a realm unto itself. True to its name, the bar feels as if it's floating over Vegas, a world apart from the chaos below. Three of the bar's four walls are glass, and the view through those windows a proper 180 degrees is absolutely breathtaking.

But ghostbar is more than its view. The room is perfectly rectangular and festooned with space-age bachelor-pad furnishings; it's the best of Hollywood and Vegas combined. The crowd lounging on those silver sofas is older, but hip and energetic. Service is courteous and quick everything you'd expect for the cover charge (between $10 and $20, depending on the day).

Still, the view alone is worth the trip skyward. You'll never feel more in touch with Vegas' intangible spirit as when you're standing on the transparent glass section of ghostbar's outdoor patio, looking straight down. It's vertigo, sure, but it feels kind of good.

One word of advice ghostbar has a fairly small capacity, and it's a popular spot on weekends. The wait to get in can reach four hours, so if you're not willing to wait in line that long, get there early.

Tryst

Location: Inside The Wynn Las Vegas

Review: Tryst nightclub is one of Las Vegas' hottest nightclubs, located at Wynn Las Vegas. The venue is co-owned by Steve Wynn and nightlife impresario Victor Drai, and features successful managing partners Jesse and Cy Waits. A cascading, 90-foot waterfall is the breathtaking element located in the lagoon right off the dance floor at Tryst. There are 84 VIP tables located inside and outside Tryst, giving patrons the opportunity to enjoy Tryst from several different spots inside the scintillating nightclub.
